The International Journal of Heritage Studies (IJHS) have shown interest in publishing a special issue, edited by Jonathan Westin (Gothenburg), Anna Foka (Umeå), and Adam Chapman (Gothenburg) as guest editors, collecting research that deals with visual and multi-sensory representations of marginalised groups in historical settings, inspired by the meeting in Gothenburg last March (www.challengethepast.com). The time frame would be for a deadline in early January, after which the papers will be sent out for review and 6-7 of those that make it through will be put in the special issue.
